
UAE nationals do not need to apply for a Schengen visa to travel to Finland or other Schengen countries.
The Emirati passport should be valid for at least three months at the intended time of departure from the Schengen Area.
he passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years.
UAE nationals will be allowed to stay for up to 90 uninterrupted days, within a period of 180 days.
For non UAE Nationals living in the UAE A visa will most likely be required. the fee is 60 60 € (non-refundable) which will be collected when submitting the application. Also the information and documentation you provide has to cover all those Schengen countries you are going to travel. The process generally takes about 10 working days, thats why it is wise to submit all your details before 15 days.

General Requirements for Visa Application
The applicant must furnish the Embassy with the following documents:

Personal appearance of the applicant is required.

One Schengen visa application form duly completed, dated and signed by the applicant.

One recent color passport photo (with a light background) for each applicant, not older than six months, size of the photo 35x47 mm, size of the face in the photo 25-35 mm from the top of the head to the tip of the jaw. It is important that the photo fulfils these requirements.

Original and valid passport (valid at least 3 months after the intended journey has ended) and a copy of it.

Foreign nationals residing in UAE: valid residence permit.

Flight and hotel reservations (the Embassy recommends the applicant not to buy any airline tickets prior to visa approval to avoid financial losses).

Proof of financial means (bank statements 3 months prior).

An ivitation letter from your host (organization, company, person etc.) as proof establishing the purpose of the planned trip.

An employment letter stating information including status, salary, purpose of trip and approval for leave.

Travel insurance for minimum of Euros 30,000 (please include a photocopy/original) to cover the hole period of the visa. Insurance must cover accidents, sickness and repatriation.

In the case of minors (under the age of 18) written consent of parent(s) or guardian(s) is required. Minors also need individual passports in their own names for the issuance of visas.

In the case of domestic staff, the applicant must have worked at least one year for the same sponsor and can travel only together with the sponsor.
